Used antique or vintage condition and unless otherwise noted. Condition may include any of the following: antique wear, patinas and or tarnishes / rust spots, stains, pitting, bends, micro-cracks, modifications (known or unknown), old tape or other material attached to key and minor defects.  Non-key items used in pictures for display, backgrounds and measurements not included or available for sale unless otherwise noted in the description. Only the keys seen in the pictures are included unless otherwise noted. All dating of keys is estimated since keys can be reproduced at any time. Key length sizes are sometimes rounded off to the nearest 1/16 to 1/8 inches. All keys from a smoke free environment. Keys are generally not cleaned to maintain antique nature. All keys seen are steel, iron or other non-brass metals unless otherwise noted.

times for items over $300.00. This is to allow the buyer’s funds to be
deposited (confirmed) into the seller’s actual bank account. We
apologize for any delays, but this is an eBay policy, not the seller’s.
Please track all packages via USPS free tracking to ensure someone is
present for delivery. The seller is

responsible for any loss, including refunds, for packages lost or stolen after confirmed delivery to your address.

US Shipping
I can only ship to your current PayPal account address
due to PayPal Buyer Protection rules. Please make address corrections before buying.
Canada and International Shipping

Multiple International items purchased at the same time can be combined
if the value does not exceed weight limits, or additional postage may be
required. Please contact me in advance of purchasing multiple items. In
some instances, International shipping does not include insurance
unless requested and available. Please ensure your Pay Pal address is
correct. I cannot alter shipping addresses with International shipments.
Please use a secured address for shipping, avoiding apartment and box
addresses if possible. Buyer is responsible for package losses once
delivered, including theft. Seller nor Pay Pal will issue refunds for
theft or loss once an item is recorded as delivered. Damaged items will
require postal investigation and processing before any refund.
Other Terms
Clock and general key fitting and sizing
Keys not sold for test fittings! I do not suggest purchasing any key as a replacement unless you know the
key will fit. The problem with older keys and locks is that the
mechanisms and keys often change due to wear. In addition, key
measurements can vary greatly due to small differences in bit cuts,
depth, shaft diameter and sizing due to metric vs. US standards. My
square end keys, including clock keys are sized by metric standards.
Although I accept returns, the cost of returning a key purchased on size
speculation is generally not worth the cost. I suggest consulting a
locksmith to confirm lock / key fitting.
Refunds
I will gladly refund any purchase if you are not 100% happy. Contact me
first and I will be happy to assist you with any problem. Please note
that all returns must be postmarked within the allowed return period
Please include all items received. Item(s) must be packed in equal
protection as received and be tracked/insured (to prevent loss). Refund
will be issued upon complete, unused and non-damaged return of item(s)
to seller. Buyer is responsible for return postage costs unless the
return is due to my listing error.
No refunds will be
granted for item(s) purchased for temporary or rental use, including
photography, events, displays, theater, props, etc.
Refunds due to lost or damaged items
I will be happy to refund items that were insured and lost or damaged
in transit. However, PayPal and US Postal regulations require the
receiver to file a lost or damaged claim with your post office as soon
as possible and/or respond to any inquiries. I cannot issue any refund
until a claim is filed and a copy of the claim is sent to us. Once we
receive a refund from the USPS I will issue your refund. International
shipments are not insured unless requested. Seller is only responsible
for proof of delivery to your location. In the event of theft after
confirmed delivery, the buyer assumes all responsibility. Please note that the US Postal Service will rarely pay claims over $500.00 due to serious financial problems they are having. Therefore, some items over $500.00 are “no return” sales since they cannot be covered by return insurance.
Packing
Groups or sets of keys are generally shipped together in a tightly
wrapped plastic bag. It has been my experience that keys are not
seriously damaged when packed as a tight group. Valuable keys or single
keys are usually packed individually. Special packing is available upon
request, but large groups of common keys cannot be packed individually
due to time restraints and postal box size and weight limits.
Feedback
Please remember shipping delays, shipping costs and other issues are
generally beyond my control. Although I try to inspect every key, some
may have defects I honestly missed. In such cases I will refund your
payment and pay for return shipping. Please remember this when leaving
feedback. I will be happy to correct any issue. Please allow up to 30
days for feedback as we must honor the return period in addition to
normal processing time.
